Center Stage Sexual Aid: Mini Emma

May 02, 2017
The Posting Maven

Every other week, The CSPH takes a look at a sexual aid that can be very helpful for some people and should be highlighted. This week we take a look at the Mini Emma by Svakom.

Svakom Mini Emma

The Mini Emma comes from the company Svakom, a company that prides itself in making sex toys with an “intelligent mode” design. It is the miniature version of the Emma vibrator wand, but without the heating component. This wand is approximately 6.5 inches long and made of environment-friendly silicone. It is 100% waterproof, runs on a lithium battery, and can be recharged with a USB cord. The charge takes 1.5 hours and the battery can last for up to 2 hours. To clean, all you need is to wash it with antibacterial soap and warm water to rinse off, then dry it off with a clean towel.

The vibrations can be very powerful and runs on a high frequency motor. The wand has an “S” button which acts as both the power button and “intelligent mode” button. A quick guide to all the settings available on their official site:

To turn on and off- hold on to the “s” button for two seconds until the light flashes.
To turn on the “intelligent mode”- press the “s” button once.
To turn up the vibration- Press the upwards arrow button.
To turn down the vibration- Press the downwards arrow button.

The company claims that the Mini Emma has a flexible head which I was pretty stoked about, but it wasn’t as flexible as I imagined it would be. It is also supposed to be very quiet (claims to be a little lower than 50 decibels) but of course with higher vibration comes louder sound, so while using it on higher speeds I found it to be less discrete than I was hoping. Still, it is quieter than other vibrators I have personally encountered. If you are worried about the sound, I would suggest using some ambient music (also works great in the shower).

Overall, the mini wand is a great product for those looking for a more discreet vibrator wand; it is easy to store away as it is fairly small and comes with an inconspicuous dust bag (despite the brand name being displayed on it), and sound is really not too bed. It is specifically made for external uses, but it is especially useful for clitoral stimulation, penile stimulation, and personal massages.

To insure that the wand stays in tip-top shape, it is suggested that you do not over-charge it, and to make sure it is fully charged before every use. I also suggest that you clean the wand before and after use; and if you would like to use lubricant, use water-based as it as a silicone toy.
